Dr. Keel is a board certified, fellowship-trained retina specialist. His educational tract included Medical School at The University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences and residency and fellowship training at The Bowman Gray School of Medicine, Storm Eye Institute at The Medical University of South Carolina and The Vitreoretinal Foundation in Memphis. Honors included Alpha Omega Alpha honor medical society, Chief Resident, and Vollatan award for academic excellence. Before coming to Hampton Roads Eye Associates in January 2000, Dr. Keel practiced as a solo retina specialist in northeast Tennessee.
