Mark Woodward, O.D.
Dr. Woodward received his Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York in 1979. As a member of the Optometric Honor Society, he received his doctorate of Optometry degree from SUNY State College of Optometry, New York, New York in 1984. In New York, he practiced Optometry from 1984-1989.

Being a part of several professional associations, Dr. Woodward has been a fellow of the American Academy of Optometry since 1994. He is also a member of the American Optometric Association and the Virginia Optometric Association. Dr. Woodward has special interests in the areas of refractive surgery co-management, contact lenses, and binocular vision.

Dr. Woodward has been in private practice in Newport News, Virginia since 1990 with Hampton Roads Eye Center, now Hampton Roads Eye Associates (HREA), and is another valuable member of our team.
